I received my education in Australia from the University of Queensland where it all started. For almost a decade I have been assisting people, initially starting as a Support Worker, Mental Health Social Worker and a Counsellor. I have experience facilitating therapeutic groups as well as individual therapy sessions. My professional experience is also inclusive of teaching mental health studies within adult further education while continuing to work as a Life Interventionist for those who are seeking to transform their lives.
It is my passion to help people feel heard, understood and supported in connecting with their true nature and learning to live their lives from a space of love as opposed to fear. I am a great believer that life is a mirror and that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world and once we start to understand that, we have so much more power than we can imagine. For me, life is about growth and expansion. The wounds that we experience in life are opportunities for us to allow for more light and love to enter into our hearts. On this journey we need to surround ourselves with as much empowering and loving support and guidance as possible which is why seeking professional support from an experienced therapist is so crucial.
I am a qualified Mental Health Therapist with over ten years of experience within mental health studies, research and practice. My background is in Social Work studies where I specialized in mental well-being, supporting clients with life coaching, stress management, anxiety, eating disorders, relationship challenges and trauma related issues.
I am passionate about my work and strongly believe that therapy can bring positive change and improvement to people’s lives. We are all vulnerable in today’s stressful world; it is not uncommon to feel lost or confused from time to time, or to experience symptoms such as anxiety, stress, depression, eating issues and unhelpful behaviors or a lack of confidence that can lead to relationship challenges. These are things that we all go through at some point in life. The important thing to remember is that you are not alone. Talking with a professional can provide concrete help and support, as well as short and long-term relief from issues or problems you are facing.
